At Pack 673, we're part of a proud tradition that has been developing young people for more than 40+ years by following the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of BSA.
• Experiential STEM learning. We build race cars, boats, model rockets, rope bridges, and more!
• Community service and civics. We do service projects and visit or support local fire, police, and civic events.
• Disconnect from screens, get active outdoors, and learn conservation. We hike a lot and offer nearly a dozen camping opportunities each year (electronic free).
• Quality time for families. Scouting offers you the curriculum and structure to teach your kids life skills you want to teach them anyway.
• One activity for multiple kids. Since Scouts welcomes boys AND girls, we welcome multiple family members in one place to save you some shuttling.
• Cheaper than most sports.

We have traditionally met at Cross of Christ Lutheran Church (411 156th Ave NE, 98007). Since Covid, we have continued meeting and are still very active, alternately on:
• Secure Zoom calls or
• In person, in small group, outdoors, distanced, and masked activities such as hiking, biking, and more.

Unlike packs that draw from specific neighborhood schools, we draw from many schools, mostly Phantom Lake, Spiritridge, Lake Hills, Puesta Del Sol, and Jing Mei.

Cub Scouts complete advancement activities through the program with their parents/families. Many activities need to be done at home in addition to our weekly den meetings and once-a-month (typically last Monday of the month) pack meetings. Therefore, parental involvement is required for your scout's success. We also have a monthly Parent Meeting for planning and coordinating activities. This is not for everyone, but we actually excel in this area. We've earned Gold Journey To Excellence (one of the highest honors for a Pack) 7 years in a row, and we have several Baloo and Wood Badge-trained adults.

Please see our Testimonials (trooptrack.com) from past and current parents of our Scouts.

Most importantly, we follow the Cub Scout Motto.... "Do Your Best!"

For more info about our pack and how scouting works, we urge all families to check out our Family Guide, which covers the basics of scouting vocabulary, fees, uniforms, and expectations for participation: FamilyGuide2024-2025.pdf
